Daily nursing practice in your Discord server. Choose where and when your group studies.

Add it to your server

You need Manage Server permission. Choose your server on Discord’s invite screen and review the requested permissions. Administrator permission is not required.

Add NCLEXapro to Discord

Siah hosts the bot and supplies its question feed. You do not need to run a server, upload questions, or provide a bot token.

Choose the channel and schedule

In your server, type /setup. The setup screen is visible only to you.
Select the text channel for daily questions. For a private channel, give NCLEXapro access first.
Select Set time and time zone. Enter a 24-hour time such as 12:00 or 18:30, and an IANA time zone such as America/Los_Angeles, America/New_York, or Asia/Manila.
Choose an optional alerts role, or turn alerts off.
Select Save settings. Wait for the confirmation before closing setup.

The default is noon in America/Los_Angeles. Each server has its own schedule and used-question history. If today’s time has already passed when you first save, your first set starts tomorrow. Otherwise, it starts at the selected time today. Local schedules follow daylight saving time.

Optional alerts

In Optional alerts role, select Create alerts role to let the bot create a mentionable NCLEXapro Alerts role with no added permissions. It reuses a matching role it can manage when available. You can also select an existing role or turn alerts off.

The bot needs Manage Roles, and its role must be above your chosen alerts role. An existing role must be mentionable and must not be a managed integration role.

After saving, the bot posts a subscription announcement. Members react with 💊 to subscribe and remove their reaction to unsubscribe while the bot is online. Each daily set mentions the selected role once. Discord notification settings still apply. Alerts off means no subscription announcement or role ping.

Answer the daily set

Open the dated thread beneath the announcement. If its preview is missing, use the channel’s Threads list to find it.
Use the letter buttons for single-choice questions. For select-all-that-apply, choose every answer before confirming the dropdown.
Read your private result and rationale. Your first submitted answer is final. Repeated clicks show the saved result without changing it.
Answer all ten to see your score, percentage, and missed-question numbers. Select-all questions require an exact match; there is no partial credit.

Classmates cannot see your private feedback or scores. Discord and the bot operator process the stored data; see the Privacy Policy. Public thread discussions remain visible to members with channel access.

Change settings and find older sets

Run /setup again to change the channel, schedule, or alerts. A set already started keeps its original settings; edits apply to later sets. Saved answers and scores survive restarts.

Threads archive after 24 hours of inactivity without deleting questions. Find them under Threads → Archived/Closed. Reopen a thread if its answer controls cannot be used.

Permissions and troubleshooting

/setup is missing: Use it inside the server, with Manage Server permission. Reauthorize through the invite above if commands were not included in the original installation. Newly registered commands may take time to appear.
The channel cannot be saved: Allow View Channel, Send Messages, Read Message History, Create Public Threads, Send Messages in Threads, and Embed Links for NCLEXapro in that channel. Channel overrides can block permissions granted to its role.
The alerts role cannot be created or selected: Grant Manage Roles. Move the bot role above the alerts role and enable mentions on an existing alerts role. The server’s role limit can also prevent creation.
Subscriptions do not work: Allow Add Reactions for the bot and members, and View Channel and Read Message History for members in the announcement channel.
No daily set arrived: Check the saved time zone and first-post timing. The bot waits if fewer than ten unused supported questions remain. Hosting, feed availability, or Discord permissions can delay delivery.

For a quick check, save a time five minutes ahead in a test channel. Confirm one announcement, ten questions, private feedback, and the final score. Set your regular schedule afterward. Members need access to the channel; allow Send Messages in Threads if you want discussion.
